Interview with Jack Nolan

Alto Cinco is a popular Mexican restaurant in Syracuse, New York. It is located on Westcott Street and is an authentic location for people to eat delicious Mexican food. Jacey, Leah, Lexi and I went to the restaurant to try the food and to learn more about the restaurant. We conducted an interview with one of the workers to gain even more information. We interviewed Jack Nolan, a waiter.
Q: What are some of the reasons that Alto Cinco is a better and more special restaurant than other Mexican Restaurants?
A: Here we have very good waiters and the food is very good and very authentic. We are known for our waiters because they are very mean. Although they’re mean, the people like us and the people want to keep coming back. Also our food is made fresh and new every day.
Q: When was this restaurant established?
A: It was established 17 years ago. First the restaurant was only to take out the food and only my boss, Joanna York, worked here. Now we have a complete restaurant with a lot of workers.
Q: What are the special dishes from here?
A: We made the catfish burrito before all other Mexican restaurants. Also we have burritos covered in cheese. Also we have very authentic beers and wines here.
Q: How does this restaurant affect the community?
A: A lot of students from Syracuse will tell you that Alto Cinco is good because we have fresh food, we cook the food very quickly and because we deliver the food. Also a lot of businesses call us when they need help with food for large parties. We affect the people in a very good way.
